My Critique
The item of clothing that I have decided to critique is my pair of customised denier black mock garters. Since I got them in black this allows me to be able to wear them with absolutely any dress or skirt since it has no ability to clash.
Historically tights have been utilised equally by both man and women. Tights are typically worn to either allow people to wear skirts and dresses in cold weather to keep themselves warm, to even out skin tones/ cover blemishes ad also for support.
The brand of tights that I use is Snag Tights, the reason that I always go for snag tights is that their entire purpose as a brand is to allow absolutely everyone fully express themselves regardless of their size, gender, body shape or race. This allows me to be able to buy from this company since I fully believe in it since I am a plus size woman find it very hard to find tights that fit me since most retail shops only sell up to a size 18 and 20 at most. The tights that I have are made out of 91% polyamide, 8% elastand and 1% cotton this allows them to be stretchy and yet still have their iconic full opacity.
These tights are one of my favourite items in my closet since not a single other person in the world has the same pair as me, this is because I have fully customised them in a way that no one could emulate them perfectly. This is because I took a fork to them and ripped them up so that they would look more gothic and match my aesthetic better, it also makes it so you can see my tattoos and has generally just made them a lot more comfortable to wear since they do not give me sensory overload since they no longer make me feel constricted.
