Animation!!Starting off for this project I wanted to experimentwith making a single aspect of an image move. To make this interesting I decided to start off by drawing a black moore goldfish blow a bubble.
Considering this was my first ever animation I am quite proud of it. This encouraged me to try again and draw another black more goldfish but this time with more aspects of it moving! |
For this animation I wanted to experiment with the movie trope where there is always a pretty girl who is blowing bubbles in high school movies. Since at this point I was still experimenting with animation I wanted to see what I could do with a simple line art drawing and then adding three moving aspects, them being the eyes, bubble gum and the moving background.

This animation is based on the movie trope of a vampire coming out of a coffin. I didn't intend to originally use a bat but it ended up being a bat for the sake of experimentation. If I was to re-create this animation I would try to make it so the Coffin door opens more traditionally instead of it falling over.

To do this project I decided that the most useful tool for me would be procreate. This is because when using procreate it gives me full creative control over everything and allows me to be able to draw in the way that I wanted to for this project.
Even though until we started this project I was completely unaware that you could even animate on procreate until now. This is definitely a skill that takes some mastering and I am willing to carry on experimenting with it since I think that animating some of the illustrations I do will give my work an extra boost and take my art into another dimension.
