Step one
for the 3D project we were randomly given names for the band name and album name. With these names we had to create the concept of an album cover. The album covers have to be 12,12,12 this making them the size of a vinyl.
the name That I got was Anxious In Iceland by the band Gammy Buttock. I'm not going to deny the fact that I was not the most pleased with the names I got since they do not really go with the vibe that I go for with the majority of my work. But now that I think about it I think that was the whole point of this project, to be able to give a prompt that is completely different and go with it, since this is the type of thing that we will encounter when we are working.
Since I had no idea where to start I decided that I would do some mind maps and initial sketches to help think of any idea that could help get this project started.

idea one
The first idea I came up with was that I wanted to make the album look as if the viewer was to be looking down the aisle of an ICELAND. I would then have a person looking down the aisle instead of having an actual person I would have the silhouette and he would be anxious. I was also thinking about having it so that the shelves of the aisle would be filled with antidepressant bottles.

idea two
My next idea was to create a messy looking garage that looked like your dad had festered in for a bit to long. This came from a lot of inspiration from music videos of some of my favourite songs that my sister would listen to on Kerang when I was younger. The biggest example of what I mean is what's going on in this music video made my Bowling For Soup.
Outcome
P.S. My favourite part is the Gammy Ass
